Far beyond the British waters lies a land for surfing the wind in your bikini or boardies. Almost 100% consistency in terms of smoothness and delivery Brazil provides the most epic destination for your kitesurfing holiday
This Kitesurfing Safari takes you to the far off places of Paracuru and Icaraizinho aiming to avoid the crowded beaches while providing you with the conditions to see your freestyle soar.
Basing ourselves in these two different ultimate locations we will begin our adventure in Paracuru where we will stay at the most beautiful pousada to be found - Paracuru Kite Village. Here you will either share a VIP suite with one other or have your own room if you prefer a little more privacy. On your doorstep you will have your own hammock that will gently sway in the wind. This will be where you rest your weary bones after an incredible day on the water and a group sunset stretch to ease out any aches and pains.
Paracuru is where we will begin your kitesurfing coaching. On the inside of the reef in the flat water you can develop your freestyle while out on the reef you can slash in the waves. The world is your oyster and with me coaching you the tricks of the trade we will ensure that your kitesurfing progresses according to your aims. We will spend 8 days here in all culminating in an irresistible downwinder where we will cruise from Taiba back to our first Brazilian home. It is around 20km long and will give you the opportunity to tackle various waves from knee to head high. With me as your guide on the water and the buggys with kite caddy’s following on the beach you can feel safe to undertake this journey at a speed right for you. If you feel ready I will show you how to slay some waves or if you prefer I will guide you to cruise down at a gentler pace.
Mid way through the trip we will head to Icaraizinho. It’s a peaceful fishermans village with a multitude of places to ride. We can ride in the ocean 100m’s from our stunning house booked privately for us or we can take small trips by kite to the flat water lagoons. Breakfast arrives daily in a small van selling fresh bread, cakes and croissants while in the evening we can buy fresh fish and cook on the bbq. The local restaurants make tasty churassco and camarao – the perfect recipe to refuel our well used muscles.
Just as your settling in to the tranquility of Icaraizinho there is just one more little treat in store. A day trip by private transfer to the infamous Ilha De Guajiru - a 7km x 1km wide lagoon. We will rock this inland sea in the deliciously warm shallow waters throwing down our new tricks until the sun sets.
There is never a dull moment on this Brazilian Surfari - just 100 memories of action and adventure to share with 6 new friends. You don’t need to be a top kitesurfer to take part in this trip, but please be sure that you are 100% comfortable with riding upwind. It’s preferable that you have tried your first jumps, but don’t worry if you need a hand with your height or your landing. There is a maximum of 6 places available on this trip and the coaching will be geared to help you achieve your own personal goals. Whether you want to jump higher, pop better, rotate, kite loop or handle pass this trip will be one you’ll never forget.
