Running for 3 years now the Cornish Kitesurf Exploration is proving to be one of the most fun Coaching Holidays that I offer. No matter what direction the wind is blowing or how big the waves are rolling in Cornwall has an ideal spot to help you progress your freestyle safely. With a mixture of bays and river mouths we can always find an awesome place to kite.
September is a windy, warm month and the best time of year to avoid the holidaymakers and beach restrictions. It provides some world-class kitesurfing for both waves and flat water. Pushing yourself to new heights is more than achievable. With the Gulf Stream passing close by the water is warmer then elsewhere in the country.
Coaching will be flexible for the UK conditions and a close eye will be kept on the forecast to choose which beach is looking best for which day. Based in the UK’s surf capital Newquay we are never far from the perfect beach. The maximum distance for any wind direction is around 20 miles while stunning sandy beaches are also within 2-5 miles. It’s a great opportunity to ride many of Cornwall’s top spots.
Our accommodation is beautiful holiday house set up perfectly for us to warm up, eat whenever and chill out. It is wired with Wifi to give us the most up-to-date forecasts for each day.
There are only 6 places available per trip and you will be split into 2 groups of 3 to allow me to focus on your learning potential. I will help you to work towards your own goals regardless of what others are working towards and I offer a strong element of 1:1 coaching. When the wind blows we go and whether you are keen to add some style to your riding or throw down some more technical tricks then we will set about achieving it. Waves or flatwater Cornwall has it all.
