I have been on 3 of Jo’s coaching holidays. It is fantastic coaching that gets results, brilliant fun and best of all a course structure that means an awesome time. Couldn’t recommend Jo’s courses more.

  2. Craig Robinson says:

In the three hours of tuition I had with Jo I progressed and learnt more than I had done in the previous 3 months. I would highly recommend Jo Wilson Kitesurfing tuition

  3. Sarah Courtney says:

You say to yourself “what difference can one week make to my kiting” but actually it only took 20minutes for Jo to fix my year long struggle with backrolls and after that my kiting life changed from being Safety Sarah days of doing laps of the shoreline never getting my kite wet to endless combinations of rotations, grabs, loops and bad hair moments! Jo’s energy and boot camp motivation will whip ya into kite shape no matter how many trips to the dinner buffet you do.In the best spot with the best wind Egyptian energy is a no brainer holiday all you need to bring is a truck load of Berocca and a swimsuit that’s blast proof. Look out for Pocket Jo’s coming soon to a trim strap near you!!!

  4. Kasia Yeates says:

I was stuck on riding up and down and throwing an odd jump and rotation in a sudden upsurge of bravery :-) Unhooked tricks were only a dream… But with Jo Wilson dreams come true!!! The best thing I ever done was booking myself into Jo’s caching trip to beautiful and windy South Africa! In a week I was throwing unhooked frontrolls, raileys and attempting first ever unhooked kiteloops and downloops which I haven’t even dreamt of ever trying at all! It was surprisingly easy to push myself with Jo’s encouragement and detailed instruction. I also think the small group was the key to successful training! Jo’s coaching style is a true dedication to the riders and their needs, she gives 100% to ensure everyone is having a great time while massively improving their skills. It was not only the best kitesurfing coaching I ever experienced, it was one of the best holidays I ever had – on and off the water!

  5. Charlie says:

Last year I decided that after 8+ years of riding that I needed something to focus my mind and to push my kitesurfing on to the next level. Jo’s short burst sessions were the answer! The first challenge I gave Jo was to get me front rolling as I’d always found them difficult. After a bit of theory on the beach I nailed the first one I tried, brilliant! Ive done a couple of the short burst sessions now and I have been over the moon with my progress each time, whether it be nailing something new or getting confidence to do the same tricks in bigger winds. I’m desperate to get onto one of her coaching holidays. Seeing how I have progressed in an afternoon, imagine what would happen after a whole week?! Jo structures her lessons really well, she is so enthusiastic and gets a real kick out of watching her flock progress. One word of warning though – keep the energy bars and drinks to hand, you’ll need them to keep up with her!

  6. Adam Firth says:

After struggling to progress from basic intermediate and getting a little bored and frustrated with my kiting sessions I booked myself a three hour 1:1 with Jo. It was a great move as now I am really enjoying my kiting again. Learning new techniques and skills from Jo was only half the story, it was also the enthusiasm and inspiration I picked up from the time spent with a professional kitesurfer with such a passion for the sport.

  7. Nick Fox says:

Just came back from the Cornwall coaching trip, it was one of the best things i have ever done. I had a great time with a bunch of people that were friendly, relaxed and dedicated to the sport. We visited some fantastic kiting locations in Cornwall and had a good laugh the entire time. One light wind day Jo took us to a surprise location and, without giving the game away, it was one of the best watersports ive ever done, by the end of the day we had renamed it ‘The Wipeout Machine’! And no it was not Kayaking! Jo was organized and knew exactly where to go around Cornwall for changing wind conditions. I was lucky as a last minute cancellation allowed me to go. Handlepasses here i come!

  8. John Belvedere says:

Went on one of Jo’s Coaching Holidays in Cornwall recently, stayed in some great acommodation in Newquay with 4 other students + Jo. I cant express how enthusiastic and dedicated Jo is towards getting each individual to reach their potential. In the week we had a mixture of light and strong winds, every day was spent doing something that went towards making us all better kitesurfers. I certainly left with enthusiasm to get home to my local beach and start practicing all I had learnt. I look forward to booking myself on another of Jo’s courses. One more thing, I now have a different view about Yoga, its not just for woman!

  9. GB North says:

Jo’s coaching is the best thing you will invest in as a kitesurfer. If you want to learn freestyle, Jo’s the one. I had major issues learning just to jump and was going to give up on the freestyle thing completely. The one tip she showed me has changed my view. It was so simple but I would never have sussed it without Jo’s help. Can’t wait to get into the more technical stuff. Book now !
