I’m not sure this trip is for the faint hearted – hell I’m not sure even I can handle this trip, but I thought I’d throw it out there for the kitesurfing party animals amongst you – lets see if you can handle it!!! Kite by day and party by night – this trip takes you in to the heart of the kitesurfers paradise of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic.
The Dominicans really know how to maximise their waking hours and the beaches boom out reggaton to the early hours of the morning. The wind respectful to the tired heads usually doesn’t start to rustle until 10am and the palm trees fringing the white sandy beaches don’t usually break in to their full swing until noon and then they continue well in to the sunset.
The reef 500m out protects the bay from big waves providing a bath water playground to work on your new kitesurfing tricks in safety. For when you want a rest from freestyle the waves await out on the reef.
This is a high octane trip for the party hard kitesurfers so beware!
